What this version handles
The parser, notation renderer and file exporters run in your browser. The page downloads its own code when opened; selected MIDI bytes and filenames are not sent away. No account is required.
Choose one note-bearing track from the file. Quantization rounds note starts and ends to the selected grid. Review the resulting rhythm before using the score.
Limits of this version
- Input is limited to Standard MIDI File Type 0 or Type 1 with PPQ timing. Type 2 and SMPTE timing are rejected.
- Files larger than 1 MiB (1,048,576 bytes) or containing more than 16 tracks, including metadata tracks, are rejected.
- Only one selected track is rendered. It is limited to 256 notes and 32 bars after quantization.
- Notation uses 4/4 meter, treble clef and pitches C3–C6 (MIDI 48–84). Other meters and percussion tracks are rejected.
- Quantization is 1/8 or 1/16 note. Triplets, swing, pedal and pitch-bend expression are not preserved.
- Chords may contain up to six pitches with the same quantized start and end. Independent overlapping voices are rejected.
- Accidentals use sharp spellings. Key signatures, automatic hand separation and score editing are not included.
- PDF contains raster score images. PNG exports one score page at a time.
These are enforced limits of this version, not measured hardware failure thresholds.
